The National Service Scheme of Kongu Engineering College organised the valedictory function FACIO-15 on 13.04.2015 (Monday) at Swami Vivekananda seminar hall in Mechanical block The function was started in the evening by 5.00 pm and the program was preceded by Dr.P.Navaneethakrishnan ME, MBA, PhD, and Professor, Head of Mechanical Department , NSS Program Officer’s Dr.A.Manimaran and Mr.S.Praveen Kumar. The function was started with the prayer song by the NSS volunteer.
At 5.15 pm, the welcome address was delivered by Miss.K.Sujitha, NSS volunteer. She welcomed the chief guest Dr.P.Navaneethakrishnan, ME, MBA, PhD, and Professor, Head of Mechanical Department, NSS Programme Officers and all the NSS volunteers. Miss.K.Anupriya, NSS volunteer listed out all the NSS activities conducted during the academic year 2014-2015. Around 5.25 pm Dr.P.Navaneethakrishnan started his speech and he thanked NSS Program Officer’s Dr.A.Manimaran, Mr.S.Praveen Kumar for providing such opportunity to talk in the valedictory function. He told that he had attended the NSS camp which was held in Amapalayam and Ayyampalaiyam. And he appreciated the NSS team for conducting 22 activities in this academic year. He asked all the NSS students to share their views about the NSS to other students to make our college and the surroundings clean. He insisted the NSS team to conduct the eye camp for the drivers, because nowadays many accidents are prevailing in this busy world due to carelessness and also an awareness program to conserve food among the public. Finally he concluded his speech by motivating the students to do more activities in the upcoming years and wished them all success. As a token love and gratitude, NSS Program Dr.A.Manimaran, Mr.S.Praveen Kumar gave a memento to Dr.P.Navaneethakrishnan. Over 6.00 pm the function was ended with the vote of thanks by the NSS volunteer Mr.Naveen Raj.
