OPEN HOUSE EXHIBITION 2015
OPEN HOUSE EXHIBITION (21.08.2015 – 23.05.2015):
Kongu Engineering College had organized the Open House Exhibition from 21.08.2015 – 23.08.2015. Every year, the Exhibition was conducted to expose the talents of the students through their projects. Students from each department displayed their projects in their respective departments. Many students from different schools and colleges visited the projects of various departments and got benefitted. Every year the NSS volunteers of Kongu Engineering College will involve in various activities during the Open House Exhibition to create awareness among students. The students from other colleges and schools were guided by our NSS volunteers. The batch was given to the students with different colors made by the NSS volunteers to motivate the students to conserve water, energy and power, to donate the blood and to save the trees.
To eradicate plastics, NSS volunteers involved in making newspaper bags.
The newspaper bags were provided to the students during Open House Exhibition with free of cost to create. The paper bags were given to create awareness to avoid plastics. NSS volunteers involved in some other activities like guiding the students and street plays. The board was made ready and kept at the entrance of the college campus by the NSS volunteers to create awareness among the students.
In that board the students and staff was motivated to take oath by keeping their thumb impression in that board. The oath was regarding the eradication of plastics, pollution, wastages and so on and usage of paper bags. The same process was continued for the three days of Open House Exhibition. The NSS volunteers had done various skids to impress the students to involve themselves in doing the social activities.
