CAMPUS CLEANING - (17.12.2017) The National Service Scheme of Kongu Engineering College had organized campus cleaning programme on 17.12.2017(Sunday) in the college campus. Our NSS Volunteers involved themselves in campus cleaning programme to spread plastic awareness among their friends. The cleaning programme was started by 8.30 a.m. Around 140 NSS volunteers of second, third and final year students involved in the campus cleaning programme. The volunteers had cleaned various places in the college campus to remove the plastic wastes. The volunteers also collected the non-biodegradable wastes like cardboards, plastic bottles, tin cans and other unwanted waste materials in the college campus. The volunteers involved actively in cleaning the college campus with a great spirit to make a new and clean society. Firstly, they were split into several groups. In which, one group had gone to
