OPEN HOUSE EXHIBITION
(30.08.2017 – 01.09.2017):
Kongu Engineering College had
organized the Open House Exhibition from 30.08.2017 – 01.09.2017. Every year,
the exhibition is conducted to expose the talents of the students exhibiting their
projects. Students from various departments display their projects in their
respective departments. Many students from different schools and colleges
visited the college to view projects of various departments and got benefited.
Every
year the NSS volunteers of Kongu Engineering College will involve in various
activities during the Open House Exhibition to create awareness among students.
The students from other colleges and schools were guided by our NSS volunteers.Addionally
this year NSS volunteers also involved themselves in the first aid committee.
The NSS volunteers were ready with the doctors
and other first aid, medical facilities to help the students who are in need of
their help. Also,a batch was tied up on the wrist of the students with
different slogans made by the NSS volunteers to motivate the students regarding
conserve water, energy and power, to donate the blood and eyes and to save the
trees.
The
newspaper bags which were made by our volunteers were provided to the students
during Open House Exhibition with free of cost. The bags were given to create
awareness to avoid plastics. NSS volunteers involved in some other activities
like guiding the students. And also the NSS volunteers involved themselves in
maintaining the crowd.
The
board was made ready and kept at the entrance of the college campus by the NSS
volunteers to create awareness.
In that board, the students and staff was
motivated to take oath by keeping their thumb impression in it. The oath was
regarding the Conservation of Water, soil and so on.
The
same process was continued for the three days of Open House Exhibition. The NSS
volunteers actively involved themselves in various sort of works assigned with
the guidance of the Programme Officers, Dr.A.Manimaran, Mr.S.Praveen Kumar,
Dr.R.Devi Priya.
