Cell of Kongu Engineering College had
organized the guest lecture in the convention centre on 07.03.2017. Dr. Mrs. Asha
Lenin, Homeopathic Doctor, Karaikudi presided the function. The NSS Volunteers took part in the guest lecture and also
involved in honouring the chief guest by giving god of honour.
The guest lecture started around 10.00 a.m. The function began with the welcome address. Our correspondent Mr.Venkatachalam welcomed the chief guest and addressed the gathering. The Multimedia about the chief guest was presented to the students. Then the special speech was given by Mrs.Asha Lenin. She initiated her speech by welcoming our students and added that our college atmosphere was very pleasant.
The chief guest highlighted that Blackbabul should be deforested since it causes harmful effects to the enviroinment and humanbeings.She also gave tips for our students to improve our health .She adviced the students to eat traditional foods and to avoid fast foods.She also gave an extra information for the girls health condition.Additionally,She gave some suggestions for wearing clothes which suits their physic.She insisted every student to plant a sapling on their birthday and to be friendly with it. Then there was an interaction session for the students with the chief guest. Dr.Mrs.Asha Lenin finally concluded her speech after answering various questions of the students. At last the function came to the end by 12.30 p.m.
